After 25 years supporting climate solutions, we know that staying positive is vital to this work. Part of sustainability is taking the time to celebrate wins, figurative and literal! That’s why we’re proud to acknowledge three staff members who were recently honoured with 2026 Ottawa Eco Awards.
The Ottawa Eco Awards are hosted annually by Ecology Ottawa, a grassroots non-profit working to make Ottawa the green capital of Canada. Coinciding with Earth Week, the awards are intended to highlight the people, places, and natural elements driving environmental action in the city.
This year, three EnviroCentre staff members were award recipients.
- Climate Champion Award: Shaelyn Ramos
- Refuse–Reduce–Reuse Champion: Valerie Leloup
- Youth Eco Champion: Samuel Carriere
