For EnviroCentre, 2025 was a year of growth and reflection. Amid global uncertainty and shifting national priorities, we reaffirmed our core mandate: finding tangible ways to reduce emissions that also make things better for people, communities, and our country.

We grew our team, broadened our networks, and extended our services to new municipalities and provinces. Our programs prevented more than 3,300 metric tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions and engaged more than 34,000 people in practical, community-focused, and above all, impactful, climate action.

We helped over 6,000 households improve their home energy efficiency, reducing emissions and lowering bills. We engaged more than 16,000 residents in active transportation programs, helping make sustainable travel part of the norm. We planted seven tiny forests, bringing green space to schools, seniors’ residences, and surrounding neighbourhoods.
